15 Tooth Front Sprocket is My Bitch Please look at pics

It's done, I did it on my fing own. I can shift through all the gears just fine.

Please look at the pics to make sure I have done this correctly.
The pics are of the sprocket installed, the shift pedal still the wrong one, waiting on the new one to come, and the last is the back tire I want to make sure its on correct.

Please let me know if I need to correct something.

Looks fine to me via the pics. How did your torque your front sprocket?

A 27 mm socket while holding the rear break. Funny thing is the 14 tooth sprocket was not on all that tight. I made sure that this was on real tight.

Ok. Highway riding is nice 6th gear showing 60, really going 55 at less than 7 K rpms. Man I am going to get good gas mileage. That 15/42 combo is really nice

Already called them and told them that. I also told them that I will no longer shop with them. Their loss as I am about to buy a cruiser next week.
On the gearing note. I get a whole lot less vibration. With this set up. I can also get to 30 mph in first gear at like 9 k rpms which is nice.

TBA I owe you all a thanks. You all told me I could do this I just did not have the self confidence.

Very nice results! Good job. I might consider this as well. Did you change the rear too or just the front ?

And we had all pretty much given up hope with you with a mass group but then weeks later you go and do this so your status as a competent human has be re-established

Now the real question now that you know how its done right is how where they doing it wrong?
