Ninja 250r Stock Exhaust Mod
Hello everyone I'm new to this forum just picked up my first bike. The stock exhaust was a little quiet and after doing some searching around the internet the consensus is to take a drill to the back of the muffler so make it louder. I found this made the bike sound very tinny so I thought i would share my solution to the problem. I started by drilling 5/8 holes in a star pattern around the exhaust cover then repeating this after removing the cover. Next I went and bought some steel wool from the local hardware store and packed the end cap of the exhaust with the steel wool and bolted it back on. This removed a lot of the tinny exhaust sound up higher in the rev range but kept the lows. I will post a video up here soon once I return home from college this weekend.

Here a video from a member over at EX-500.com. it's for the 500 mufflers, but they are very similar to the Ninjette.
