There's a road that heads into the infield, and then some trails around there. Chris usually brings his little pit bike for those endeavors. If you're more comfy on a bicycle instead of a little 2-stroker, I was planning on bringing my mtb as well. You're welcome to fart around on that as well.

Talk to Chris, you could likely carpool. He doesn't bite.

No $$ to ride!!!! Put a $5 spot in a jar a week and you will be ridin' with us in no time. Surely everyone can afford that. I should be able to take care of any gear you need. And as of right now I have a couple of spots open on the trailer, so I can get you there.

But if not, then there are plenty of openings in the fence for photo ops. And you can get really close to all corners but 1. If you just wanna take pics and hang out, you are more than free to use my camera and pit bike to run around and take photos if you want. Just let me know, I should have my wife with me so you don't have to worry about being the "only" girl in a pack of doods testosterone overdosed induced by the track.

You know there is no camping allowed the night before the first day.

Speaking of which, you all should really consider a 2 day event if you can manage it. I mean ride both Sat. & Sun or a Sun. Mon. I know it doubles the price of track time but all other costs basically stays the same for the most part.

And for some, you may just find yourself in the I group on the 2nd day, where there is more "on your own" track time.

Also, I am sending a fb message to the track photographer about a group discount. I know him fairly well, he is a great guy and does amazing work. There is a good chance of this happening and he most likely will shoot a "more than normal" amount of pics if he has a heads up. fyi, he is a "quality of quantity" kinda guy.

WOOT! Chris, i'm going to attempt the 2-day event if possible. I want to miss as few days from work as possible, but if it's a sat-sun or a sun-mon that would work out. It all depends on how busy I am and what job I can land this summer. I'm working on that now too.

Kyle does great work! I bought a couple pictures from him last time. We could get some sick stuff from him.

@siebadn - Cool! With the right person behind a good DSLR + lense, good pics should be really easy to get. I normally have my Cannon Rebel with me but I am no good behind the lens.

Here is what umbrellas are good for and I will have my wife bring her umbrella too.

@choneofakind - I am working on it but I should be able to get out with you guys/gals the last 2 sessions of the day. Due to how the school/class part is arranged, I am not sure I want to mess that up. I want everyone to get the most out of it ya know.

Ahh I reviewed my insurance policy and I don't want any risk of damaging my bike at the track since it's not covered, even as a school. Basically they spell it out on my policy..anything on a track is not covered. I won't be making it to the trackday this time.
I hope to buy a used bike down the road and make it a track bike, or once I get a second bike, I'll run this one on the track.

Rule #2 - What happens at Mid-O stays at Mid-O, so your crash or any other shenanigans never happened

However, now that chone has been to the track once with me, he is now exempt from rule #1.

Ohhh, I'll be watching this. I live in DC, but I like to ride out to IN/OH occasionally to visit family, so if I could plan a trip around this weekend, I could maybe make it out for a day. Sounds like a great way to try getting on the track!
