I will;

Ride my old Honda Interceptor, or

Move up a group (I know the track now and my son will not be there), or

Pit and let the bunch, flock, group, gang get a distance away before coming back out.

It's not me I worried about. It's the bunch, flock, group, gang of riders. I just don't want to see a dominoe affect of riders going for the red flag.

don't worry. at cvma this kid i know has broken his spine like 3 times now, been hit from behind, ran over, has hit others from behind. and he's relatively fine. i'm sure you'll fare no worse. even if they do stack up on top of you like dominos. bike crashes aren't that bad. just try not to run anyone over and enjoy the ride!

Thanks for thinking of me Cowboy.

I am racing the following weekend in Homestead and have actually moved to SW Florida. It's unlikely that my wife will let me out two weekends in a row.

Maybe I could use one day as a shakedown for the race...

Jennings is now 6 hours from me and we have a toddler and one on the way.

So yeah- she wouldn't be too happy. Plus that's her birthday weekend.

What a great idea for a birthday present, a trip to Jennings (with pictures). She would never forget it.

Have you not heard the story about how I proposed to her- I thought you were there actually.

After crashing in turn 2 at Jennings

There are a lot of things involving motorcycles I'm sure my wife would prefer to forget.

When are people actually planning on being there?

Saturday and Sunday are both $130. Monday is $105. Sunday is a "mock race" day meaning the first session after lunch is a warm up lap, gridding up, and then pretend race for 5 or 6 laps for bragging rights.

As the OP said, this track is great for the 250s. I am capable of running the same time on my 250 as I was on my 600 (Fast on the 250, decent on the 600).

I sandbagged the novice group mock race my first day on my 250. Race control loved it...and truth be told...so did I.

Invite the soapy water guy... Maybe he will have a change of heart, or he can teach us all how to ride through soapy wet corners, domino style
