I am not snapping into the turns as fast as i should be and brake too soon in the straights. I need to tighten up and hit my apexs better as well. Lots of work to be done and time to be shaved.

Just watched it...good stuff Jeff. We need to work on your lines a bit (you nailed a few of the turns) and get you to roll on the throttle sooner.

It looks like you're entering most turns around 7-8K RPM and exiting even lower. Keep those RPM above 10K. I find it helps me in two ways. First is the obvious power band. And second, if I take a corner too hot, I know I can roll off the throttle and let my RPMs slow me down and tighten my line.

Look at turn 15 -> 14 at 1:20.

15 and 14 are both right handers. After 15, you go back to center then you re-position yourself for 15. After 15, keep your lowerbody in the same position for 14. Why make 3 movements when you can get away with only one?

Learn to setup your lower body well before the turn. Going into 10 (2;16), you setup just as you are starting to lean in. Have your lower body positioned and locked into the bike well before you turn.

Haha, I don't even know where to start. I'm sure you guys who race already know the feelings 10 fold, but after Stuman told me I was doing just fine after he followed everyone for a few laps, I was a lot less nervous and a lot more excited about it.

Then I almost hit Evan gridding up when he suddenly cut in front of me to get a better spot and got a little disoriented.

Then I accidentally gridded one spot too far back and felt kind of foolish and realized I now stood even less of chance and was a little nervous again.

Then I realized the countdown was a quickdraw competition in a videogame and imagined releasing the clutch to be like hitting the A button as soon as the flag dropped- so my heart was probably beating as fast as my tach was indicating.

Then I got a really mediocre start anyways, but all I could think about was how amazing that would be with bikes with similar hp.

Then I lost and felt a little disappointed that I couldn't hang on but still came up with a lot of absurd fantasies in my head of how cool racing for real will be. And then and then and then

March is gonna be so cool

Maybe this is all part of her strategy to let you think you know her strategy when in fact you don't. Or even better, this is a part of my strategy to get you to question if you know Zombiephone's strategy. I can't remember if it was a part of the plan for me to tell you that last sentence. Now I'm confused!

Yup, sounds like you know what it feels like to race.

I still get the butterflies when I hear all my competitors revving their bikes, the board is revealed, the green flag waved, and everyone rushing to the 1st turn. It's a sensation I can't describe into words.

I saw you take the 1st double rights and you looked smooth out there with good pace. I think this year's gonna be for some epic battles all around.

I can't wait.

I'll keep that in mind, I know I am braking too soon on all most all of the straights and I need to get on the gas way sooner in the turns. It seems I am holding maintiance throttle too long and not getting on the cas at the apex and driving through the turns. This is the first time I have had video of my riding to look at after.

Jon I am moving out of c group ASAP and would love to work on my lines! I know I have issues with turn 2, I think I am turning in too late/not snapping I to it and my line in the bowl I am not happy with as well. A few of the other ones I need to tighten up and throttle out of more.

All this work to do just means I have to go to the track more. Darn

Trackdays for me is to have fun, not about trying to get out there and set record pace.

But trackdays on a Friday prior to race weekend is a complete different story since CVMA doesn't really give enough time to practice but that's cool because we get to run two races as opposed to one true race which other race orgs do.

Yo know this to be true.

The best part is when you hound them but don't poach them, and they keep turning back like WTF man...poach me already.
