Not a problem. Gives me more time to prep and more time to get my fi kit figured out. I'll let my friends know that my plans have changed and hopefully they can make it out with us on the 25th.

That will be a better time to take time off work as well. The 4th is only the 3rd week of my new job. Crossing fingers on good weather!

Only question on the date change: That suit still available

Everything else is lined up on my end. Coolant, oil, tires, brake pads, rear stand, etc. Gives me more time.

One of the guys from ohio riders now works at the track as a medic. He goes by midgettodd....but either way he is good people and will be there for most of the track days.

@choneofakind - Less than 30 days! Prep your wallet for a buy in about 2 weeks give or take a day or so. And BELIEVE! the weather will be great.

@snot - I think I met midgettodd in the paddock during lunch. Heck of a nice guy but then again, all of the mid-o staff is great!

eermm, this might not work out for me afterall. My bike decided to spit out the left spark plug for no good reason. I might be spending my track money on head work, because I honestly have no idea what would cause my bike to do that, after showing no signs of issue at all up until this point... I'll let you know how it goes. Unfortunately I'm not made of a mechanic shop or a money tree at this point

very very last resort...

10 day limit is friday. I'll be working like mad to get it running by then. Hopefully my shop gets it back to me by Wednesday, then I just need to get everything back together and get a valve adjustment...

I'm excited beyond excited. I had trouble sleeping last night haha. The plan is to have mine ready by then. I'll work night and day till it's ready. It might have to be carb'd though

but I'll be on the track like I've been waiting so long for!!

worth it.

I still wonder how much RTV is required though. It's just around the oil drain bolt right?

that was so insane!!!!!! I loved every minute of it. I learned more in 1 track day than almost 3 years of street riding. I even learned some trail braking

. csmith12 is a real standup guy and helped me out with some lines and body positioning, and I had a hoot out there. My knee was literally 2 inches off the ground by the last two sessions. It was worth every penny.

We got some great pictures, which will have to wait till later.

Chone surprised me with his riding for a first time track rider. His lines were pretty clean, had great corner entries/exits with nice throttle rolls and he stayed within his limits so he could learn.

But the best thing was his infectious good attitude. The smile on the face of a first time track rider is without equal and he wore it like a neon sign. The last session of the day, when everyone else is hot and tired, he was literally jumping ready to go again.

It was awesome to spend the day with him and hope to do it again soon.
