RYNO: One wheel motorcycle

Link to original page on YouTube.

Amazing creation! I'd love to have a go on that. It looks so fun.

I have a feeling that it doesn't have suspension yet. In some of the shots you can see the tyre is quite deflated - I think he gets his suspension from that. Could be a bumpy ride!

Probably one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. The guy seemed like a cool guy too, loved showing it off and talking about it, but still humble someway. Awesome!

Very good find, Akima !!!

Cool vehicle and very creative builder-rider.

I can't believe that you ride in that weather so frequently over there.

The rain isn't so bad. My gear is all waterproof so I always arrive at my destination bone-dry. I'm used to riding in the rain too, so it isn't scary or hard - I have the little rain-riding rules imbued in my mind.

Obviously it's better when it's warm and dry though!

Yeah, I agree...just a segway.
Put a gas motor on it, make it do 75mph, and drag knee....then maybe I'll ooooooh and ahhhhh.

Although, my friend, it is over here. Portland is where RYNO is based. Looks like our police are going to have a go!

Stand corrected, Mark.

I don't ride as much in the rain as akima does, I'm guessing. I like keeping my bikes clean, and there is no avoiding slaughtering them with road grime when you ride the rain.

Been around for a little bit now. What you see in this video is what you get. It only goes a few mph and it's extremely wobbly. I don't see this particular project really going anywhere because the design is inherently unstable and it doesn't have any practical use. I admire that he had the idea and went with it, although I don't really think he's overcome any real technological barriers in the process since it's basically just a one wheeled segway. There is no side to side stability control.

Add to that that segways which are much "safer" and more "practical" have banned from use in one way or another just about everywhere.

Segways are so safe they might as well ban motorized wheelchairs as well, lol.
