New Member from Azusa, California

Hi!

I've been roaming around the forum for the past week or so, but never dropped a line in the New Members section. Just wanted to introduce myself... my name is Michelle, and I'm in the Azusa/Covina area. I mainly ride the canyons (Azusa/GMR, ACH, or Baldy), but I'm looking to get my bike track-ready and start my lessons!

I low-slid in GMR. I leaned over for the tight turn, and I ended up hitting gravel. I tumbled and slid, the bike slid. Luckily I had a 2-pc race suit on which saved me, and there isn't any mechanical problems with the bike. The engine was flooded for a while, the shifter bent inward, and the left fairings (front, side, and rear) are scratched up.

OT, Is the fire near you ? Its all on the local news about the fire near ACH.

Welcome to the farm, rode ACH once in June with several other members, had a blast and had hoped to ride it at least once more, hopefully the fires will be out before it gets too cold.

The fire closest to me is in Azusa/GMR, but luckily it looks like the fire is contained. ACH is several miles away, but it's still on fire.
