Talking Free Helmet!

So, today there was a helmet and safety awareness at one of the colleges. sponsored by the college, DOT, a family owned motorcycle shop, and a major hospital. One hour presentation. first 200 people to show up with legit proof of riding legality will get a raffle ticket, 95 will win. only 89 people including myself signed in. Free brand new Scorpion Exo-400. about 5 choices to choose from, i chose Red Urban Destroyer. Now i can decommission my KBC helmet and use my Exo for my daily riding, and continue to use my Shoei for any rides other than to work, gym, or cruising around town. and now for a pic

SWEET DEAL! It's a nice helmet, I just got an Exo400 and love it, other than it makes my head look HUGE i think I like it better than my Shoei

There are many worse ways to spend tax dollars.

It's not like this money was specifically oriented to give away helmets as some sort of wealth redistribution....

DOT likely has budget to raise awareness and promote safe riding among citizens of the USA... This event did just that. I give props to the DOT for holding an event like this as I feel it's much more valuable than running an expensive TV commercial.
