sweaty arms and leather jackets

Ok, fess up. Now that summer is in full swing, does no one have any difficulty pulling off their leather jackets when their arms are sweaty? What the heck is in the liners that turns into superglue when perspiration activates it? My kids find this hilarious and I cannot figure out how to look casual and cool while struggling to get out of my gear this month."Here, pull my sleeve" seems to be in the same boat as "pull my finger"

Long-sleeved wicking top and long wicking underwear.

Done.

When commuting and it's not super-hot I just wear my work shirt with the long underwear bottoms and change pants when I get there (I keep a pair of pants at work). When it is super hot I do the wicking top and carry a shirt in a bag or backpack.

Long sleeves are not hotter. You're wearing a LEATHER JACKET, after all.

I use under armor, but the days I forget it looks like I am having a "fit" to try to get it off.

For some reason this reminds of a particular friends episode.

I feel for you guys. I don't sweat. I'm cool, calm, and collected all the time.

You might need to just relax more!

lol, I normally have an undersuit setup, but on a two day track weekend last month I only had sleeveless on the second day.....

I might as well have been trying to get in a wet suit .

+1. Leathers slide right off when you want them too.

Almost all the racers use these for a reason. Having to get in and out of my leathers 2-3 times/day during a race weekend makes it a must!

Yeah, I'm glad my jacket has zippers that go halfway up the forearm and open up the arms. Unzip grab and yank off.

Fess up. We know you slather yourself in Vaseline before putting them on.

Anything light weight in merino wool, wicks the moister off of you and doesn't stink like most other fabrics on the market.
I have a few items from minus33.

Long sleeve underarmor or similar (I've Canterbury Rugby baselayer) works wonders... otherwise the leathers feel like they're giving me a full body wax in the heat

Unlike CC I sweat like Savile in a schoolyard when it gets hot.

Wicking sleeves. If you want to wear a tank top or shortsleeve, you can just take the wicking sleeves off when you get to your destination, and tuck them away in a backpack, tailbag, or whatever.
