I just got mine in February, but due to working full time and rainy weekends, I have had very little practice on it. I got it with 4950 on it and I haven't even put 50 miles on it since. I wasn't allowed to legally drive it until about a month ago though due to insurance and Registration being worked out. Now that its getting warmer and less rainy I plan to get out on the roads and get some practice in. I only have my permit so I cannot ride at night unfortunately.

I lived in Maryland the first year I had my bike and I had no problem putting around 8k miles on it in a year, wasn't that hard to ride year round for the most part. Since moving back to PA i have only been able to put around 7k miles on the bike commuting practically every chance i get for the past 2 years.

The sad thing is that that number is probably in the higher percent for miles of people around here with bikes

Nope. Still running like a champ.

Friend tells me it sounds like my valves are a bit loose but not so much I should be worried (too lazy to do them myself and too cheap to take it to the shop right now). Need to do an oil change this week and getting in new tires today.

I got about 19k on my 250 and going. This is the longest bike I had. I sold my 1000rr,600rr, fz6r, zx7r, and I'm sure I'm missing more. However, I got more plans for this little bike. Looking to get N300 rear wheels and powder coat the swing-arm.
