I don't have one personally. But the 250 that had one last weekend was using an integrated taillight.

The stock turn signals do fit you just have to modify the eliminator a bit. I will tell you how I did it and show you a picture as well.
1. Take stock rubber bushing from fender and line them up on either side of the kit (make sure you have left and right on the proper side) 2. Use some sort of eraseable marker and draw the outline of the bushing onto the kit 3. Use a drill and drill out holes in the shape of the bushing make sure you stay on the inside of your outline the center part of the bushing is smaller than the outside. I am sure you can figure out what I mean by that by looking at the bushing. 4. Pop the bushing into the holes 5. Place the metal bushing on the inside of the kit and through the rubber one 6. Run your wires through the bushings and screw the lights back on to the metal bushing. 7. Place kit back on bike and follow the given mounting instructions 8. Your done. It took me a little while to figure this out and what I thought was gonna be an hour job took easily 6 because I had to figure out how to mod the kit myself. Hope this saves others many hours and some frustration. If I could go back and do it all over again I would have bought a better eliminator kit one that allows for the stock turn signals. |
