Pics of Black 250R's Please...
I have a passion red 250r and I love the color, but I bought it used and I wanted a black ninja which is my favorite color. Don't get me wrong I really like the passion red but I'm really considering painting mine in black.
I would like to see your black ninjas so I can convince my self to take the plunge. At first I was thinking about monster graphics but since I have the wheel stripes red I might end with black and red, and I love the red and black combination. I started blacking out everything on the bike, I painted black the oem exhaust. I hate chrome so I want my bike like a stealth look. Please post you pictures from all angles if possible. I'm can also swap parts with someone if interested, but the parts most me showroom conditions, as mine are. Thanks guys and gals. |

My rear wheel should be mounted tomorrow and I'll get you a pic with it all together. I personally love the black gold. The gold I used was Honda Y-61P. It matches Brembo gold. Keep in mind the '09 has a metallic flake in it so idk how it'd look on a '11

I should post pics of mine it is krylon black with smoked fake carbon turn signals and i painted the windshield black too cuz it looked like crap, I like the gold wheels maybe someday ill paint mine that color.

The pics so far are great and two thumbs up for the work done on your bikes.
I definitely would love to see some more pics as I was suprised that prior to this there wasn't any real thread for the colour black. |

All bikes look amazing I think that they should have made gold wheels a special edition item on the 250's not just the decals on the bike.

Black gold
Datsun had a special edition car called the 280zx black gold edition, it came out on their 10th anniversary. The Ninja 250 has been out since at least 1983, I don't know if they ever made a anniversary edition ninja 250 but it will have a 30 year anniversary next year! Maybe we can all call up Kawasaki and email them until they make a black gold 250 30 year anniversary edition.

I painted mine black and added some decals after sanding some scratches. The bime was pretty dinged up before. I think i made it pretty....
