Leo Vince vs AreaP

I had a get off on Sunday which bent my header and smashed the carbon sleeve on my AreaP. The one I destroyed was a full street exhaust. The next one I get will be full race. I can pick up the Leo full exhaust at a really good price or stay with the AreaP which is what both the front running Kawis are running in our series. I'm not buying a pipe for looks or sound, I want performance. I did a little research and could really find anything about the full race Leo being used in a race environment.

I guess my question is, will the Leo perform as well as the AreaP? If so I will get that as I can probably get it for 100 cheaper than the AreaP.

Here is the video of my wreck front and rear.

Ninjas running 1:12's with both pipes @ Beaver run last Sunday. All in the tuning I guess.

I would be interested in the dyno numbers between the two also.

Out here in California the majority of us are running LeoVince pipes, with many of the lap records as well.

I personally run the GP Corsa pipe and my bike with a young racer I am sponsoring has the lap record at Las Vegas.

If you are interested in a LeoVince pipe, please contact David Christensen at LeoVince or if you want to pm me, I can provide you with a discount code.

For me personally, I like the latest pipe as it strengthened the mid range by about 1-1/2 hp while giving it a nudge on top end over my previous Leo pipe.

If you do go the Leo route, I can also send you some info on my jetting to help you with a starting point.

Eric

Both are great pipes. It really comes down to the rider and you will be happy with either one.

I had on the full Leo Vince street exhaust with the fully restricted silencing core because I was to lazy to pull it out Still gave a few of those guys a good show Then again my bike was a little slow but it was practically still in street trim so she was heavy. But come winter time while you guys are all freezing you asses off ill have my heater gloves and jacket going

I worry about the louder free flowing cans not having enough back pressure for our weakass bikes. I'd be nice to see a much wider spectrum of exhaust testing done all on one bike to compare apples to apples but I doubt that's going to happen.

Yes, with the old pipe we had better results with the insert in as it created better mid-range for torque out of turns.

I ended up with the Leo. Got it for a pretty good price. Looks great, good fit! Now to get it to the track to put it to the test.
