Small second round for Koso RX-2 GB

*update*

I have had a few local San Diego customers ask if we can discount the shipping if they pick up the parts at our location in Carlsbad. Most of the shipping cost is incurred getting the parts sent to us from Canada, but i did set up a $5 discount to those who are willing to pick up the parts in person.

*update*

Here is the link to purchase the kit. Once the order is placed I will have more information on a shipping time estimate.

Kit includes gauge, harness and optional adapter board.

The price is $280 without an adapter board and $300 with.

questions/comments/concerns?

I didn't realize how popular this little gauge was.

I have been contacted by a few forum members asking if we have any RX-2 kits in stock after our last GB.

http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=105164

We don't have any kits in stock but are willing to run another smaller GB for those of you who missed out by a few days on the last one.

Koso has been running out of stock and getting these gauges in every couple of weeks, so I can't set a strict shipping time. I spoke with them on the phone today and they are currently in stock. All i can do is assure you they will be shipped out as we get them, in the order they were purchased.

Here's the deal:

Koso RX-2 gauge, pnp harness and adapter plate all shipped in the US for $300 and $330 for all international orders.

Link to the parts on our website (just FYI, not for GB purchase):

http://racetechelectric.com/i-857918...-250-250r.html

Instructions for purchase:

1) Add your name to a purchase list like our last GB
2) email Jordan@racetechelectric.com your paypal email address and shipping info if you'd like to pay with paypal
3) Buy online through our webstore (i will list a package to be purchased on a specified date)
4) Wait patiently and study how to install the gauge for when you get it.

http://youtu.be/G8PS6U-bRj4

This is going to be a short running GB with an end date of Monday July 16th. I will post up the package for purchase the evening of the 12th.

We need a minimum of 5 buyers for this order.

Questions/Comments?

Don't remember what they offer, but it's just Koso's standard warranty on their electronics.

Do you have any specific concerns?

Yeah. I had a Koso universal speedo gauge that failed just after a year mark. I don't really want to spend $300 on a gauge that won't last.

I completely understand, but i don't have much personal experience with this gauge. All i can suggest is to do some research on the lifespan of the gauge. Maybe find some people on the board who installed it some time ago and ask if it is still working 100%. If it was our own product we would be more than happy to offer a longer warranty and do offer lifetime warranties on all of the parts that we manufacture.

I can say that after installing this model, i am very impressed. It seems sturdy, well balanced and well manufactured. I would guess that it would be a long lasting product.

Koso makes some OEM gauges for some manufacturers and this gauge is much more like one of those instead of a more basic speedometer which is why I would place more fate in it.

Hope this helps some,
Jordan
