New Ninjette owner, long-time rider here
Hey guys. Just joined the forum this afternoon since I acquired my 2008 Ninja 250 yesterday. I have been riding since 2001, and the Ninjette is my 7th motorcycle. Traded away a 2002 Honda Superhawk and turned the acquired equipment around and parlayed my way into the '08 250R. I'm in the Army and getting ready to get stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, so the plan is to ride the bike in street-legal trim while I'm stationed there, and then get back on the track with it once I get back and have access to racing again.
I've been a long-time member over at BeginnerBikers.org (first as a beginner, and now as one of the 'fast' guys), and will hopefully get my MSF RiderCoach certification squared away some time in the next year or so. My current other bike is a 2009 Concours 14 that I bought new at the end of '10 and have just over 17.5k miles on. Lots of riding experience, got my race license last year, and was one of the Zero to Hero finalists last month, so I know my way around bikes a bit... but the Ninjette will be (as they all are) a new adventure. And since this thread would be worthless without pictures:
