Odometer Picture Game

Stole this from another forum

Rules are pretty simple:

Challenge poster chooses a reasonable number and the challengers must take that picture of their odometer once they reach that mileage

i.e. XX,777 (example below) remember to only pick ones, tens, hundreds like the example.

1. In order to win the challenge you must take a picture of your motorcycle odometer (not trip meter) at the exact digits (mileage) specified in the challenge.

2. The challenge poster cannot win their own challenge unless rule 2a applies.

2a. If the current challenge sits for 5 full days, the current challenge winner qualifies to win their own challenge.

Or

2b. If the current challenge sits for 5 full days, then the current winner can post a new challenge.

3. make sure you pull over in a safe place to take the picture. This game is about riding and fun, but be safe out there.

4. Any motorcycle can be used to take the picture (big advantage for those of you with more than one moto), however cars cannot be used to complete the challenge.

5. At the bottom of each post, please include the current challenge so players can quickly stay on track.

Lastly, I’m making up these rules as I go so if anyone has anything to add/modify please speak up.

I’ll post up the first challenge to get us going…

Dang....

94 miles on the ninja, and 128 on the r6 out of completing this challenge. I could rock those out no problem but my bikes are track prepped for this weekend. If this is still open on Monday, I got dis and already have the next challenge idea.

I am riding both Sat. and Sun. in Indiana. The hurricane will dictate how many miles I get. I got a set of rains though and I don't mind getting wet. As long as the wind isn't stupid. I will hotpit take a pick and get right back out there. lol

I went out today with the purpose of getting that first picture. I made it to my parents house and the Odometer read this.

I thought I had the 3000 in the bag. After awhile I left and slowly cruised up the street until it read 3k. Unfortunately with my gloves on I must not have pressed the button hard enough. There is no picture on the phone even tho the screen blinked like normal. Now it reads 3017. What a buzz kill.

Been at a lake all weekend. Got 130 miles to go before 7000.

Course I did just learn what a lowside feels like, so that 130 miles might have awhile before its completed. (Alas, camera wasn't running at the time.)

The way Martin phrased it was Six Hundred Ninety something, Jiggles just fixed it to fit the rules of one number, Six Hundred Ninety even.
