heeyyy from Italy
Hi guys/girls,
I am Frida, from ITALY... I am waiting for my Ninja 250r green 2009 to come, since I ordered it last week.. Actually I drive a '97 Kawasaki ER-5, I took the driving license for motorbikes last September. I am a psychologist, I live in the North Italy, the weather here is pretty ******, I get to drive mi bike only 7-8 mounths per year. Did you know that here in Italy the new little ninja is made only in black or green? No other choice of colors. Not to bad because I like it green the most! But I think red is also very nice... What else... I know only one doctor.........VALENTINO ROSSI number one 46 go !!!!!! |

Welcome to the boards! Italy I hear is a good place to be. I am looking forward to ride reports and pictures! Italy is one of the places I want to visit. (Well all of Europe but Italy is on the top of that)

Welcome Frida.... in Texas its at least a good 11 months of riding in the year I was in Italy years ago it was most beautiful and the people very friendly... not to mention the guys liberally "twapping" the butt as one would pass by.... hmmm very friendly. I did the southern part of the boot Rome, Sorrento, Naples, Capri... breathtaking! An exceptional trip it was. You'll enjoy the N-250 but I'm surprised you didn't grab a "Ducati" considering its made in North Italy I believe.

Thank you Alex!
I am glad too! Here in Italy there's no big market for the little ninja, every guy at 18 years old gets a 600cc depo and when they turn 21 they turn it back to full power. Or they just wait to be 21 to get 600cc bikes and before they drive scooters or 125cc. Too bad here in Italy 250cc bikes are "for girls only" or for very young people (18--->21). I don't care, I am 30, I used to drive a 500cc, but I absolutely love this little ninja, so it will be mine!!! |

frida, any truth to the rumor that Valentino has a Kawi 250r but Yamaha won't let him ride it in public?

no, I haven't heard that!! I don't think it is possible... Can't wait to see him at MISANO circuit in September, San Marino GP. Is Valentino Rossi loved over there in United States? Or do you all prefer Hayden? I'm curious about it ... |

Welcome to the forums frida! You must have the art of drinking an espresso for 2 hours perfected! lol atleast that's what I always saw over there. And IIRC no latte's allowed after lunch?
good to see you choose green. By far the fastest color and everyone on this forum knows it |

Always nice to have an Italian presence in our community. The Italian Airforce used to have people stationed here where I live in Canada and their zest and enthusiasm are missed now.
Thanks for joining. |
