Here's RacerMig's write up:
CCS Florida Round 3 Jennings GP ULTB Race report. Saturday did not bring the most favorable conditions for practice, being wet and dry through out the day. Miguel Chirino and Walter Ferreyra ran several sessions in the damp conditions, later followed by Shon Staton and Dom Herrera who chose to wait it out and ride on dry asphalt. Surprisingly Walter Ferreyra and Miguel Chirino reported that there was plently of traction using DOT tires in the very Damp conditions. Sunday brought beautiful weather which provided for some good racing. Miguel Chirino got the whole shot and led a few laps until passed by Walter Ferreyra. Walter and Miguel exchanged position several times while being pursued by Shon Stanton, Paul Vance, and Dom Herrera. It was a photo finish with Staton within feet of Chirino and Ferreyra. Race Results: 1st Walter Ferreyra 2nd Miguel Chirino 3rd Shon Staton 4th Paul Vance 5th Dom Herrera Next CCS Florida round will be Homestead Motorsports Park May 6th. - RacerMig It was pretty wet on Saturday morning so I didn't want to risk practice, I've never ridden that track before and it has it's own little quirks. The turns can sneak up and catch you out of position. I managed to get in 2 practice sessions in the afternoon "moist track" was running low 1:50's way off pace. Sunday was awesome nice and sunny but not too hot. Had practice in the very firs session, it was still a little chilly and damp, no tire warmers so didn't get too much out of practice, scared myself a little but the track was much grippier than it seemed. Race Time as usual forgot to turn on gps unit and gopro was set to pics. lol Stayed ahead of Walter and JiggyFly for just first two turns then everyone was gone.... Walter had rear facing gopro it looked pretty neat. Thats it, felt much faster than practice.... but my transponder decide to not activate at all for some reason. So I have no idea what my final lap times were. They should, hope they were in the mid/lo 40's. I believe every one else was in the mid/lo 30's. Go check out the Spec Class Facebook Page for pics. badass! I like the soft looking grass everywhere around the track... all we got is dust and sand, it takes weeks to clean out the bike!

CORRECTION:
"Stayed ahead of Walter and JiggyFly for just first two turns then everyone was gone.... Walter had rear facing gopro it looked pretty neat." I actually stayed ahead of Paul and Walter. Jiggy was past me by first turn. |

Nice pic! Your bike looks so clean compared to mine The October CCS Jennings round looks like it doesn't conflict with the WERA schedule. From what I've gathered its only a partial license fee and not full price for CCS towards the end of the year, so I may try to do that round and hang out with you guys. Good luck on your race season!

That last pic doesn't look like Jennings. Nice ride though.
