New 2012 lime green ninja 250 :D

Hey guys, I'm 20 and i just got my motorcycle april 7th and let me start off with WOOOW!!! i love my bike!!!!:thumb up: Im 5'9" 120 pounds very slim guy! I always wanted a motorcycle and i wanted it for school and to commute cause my tacoma is killing me!!! I've always loved green ninjas and i found the right one for me! i finished my msf april 5th and got my bike the 7th and license the 11th. And this bike is really well built. I have cousins and a brother that rides too and we are completive so i have to keep up and i don't mind. They have and r6, a gsxr 750 and a yamaha fz8 but on may 14th only a month in the bike, i pushed it too hard and i over judged a turn a went in too hot and the turn was a little tight so i went too wide and ate well i learned from it and the great thing was that i didn't get too hurt. It was a lesson for all of us, to wear leathers. I got a couple of scrapes but nothing serious. And another plus was that my bike just got right up and had scratches but i rode it back home!! Ive done some upgrades on it, because i know I'm gonna keep this bike! I'm a small guy and don't see myself in another bike (just yet) This is the first day i got my bike!!!

upgrades:
-tinted double bubble
-battlex bt016 tires 120/60 front 150/70 rear
-tank grip and stomp grip
-tinted flush mount turn signals
-frame sliders (btw) i had them on my accident and helped a lot
-Integrated LED tail light with turn signals
-dan moto moto gp extreme exhaust which i hated after awhile and got a akropovik slip on
-k&n air filter
-fender eliminator with led bolts for license plates
-(on its way) rear seat cowl and hid retrofit halo angel headlights

my accident

I just decided to put stickers so it wouldn't look so bad on just that side!

I'm assuming he's saying you got "taken" in the 'rear end' as far as price goes.

Lol yes, thanks for the translation.

Berts is known for absolutely RAPING people on price around here. No lube. Great place to look at and sit on bikes; run far far away from purchasing there.

That's a nice as ****in bike! And yeah I know it was expensive and I had 12,000 to drop but I wanted to build my credit so that was my main reason why I financed it but so it can help me in te long run when I buy a house in the future. But your right I know I could have done that but I'm also 20 I guess I don't know any better? Lol and thanks man I'm loving the bike.

Yeah, definitely steep. OTD at my local dealership was $5400 and I was shocked by that. At least you have a bike and you are enjoying it.

this could come in very handy...I had my 09's engine rebuilt during season 3 after an attempted valve adjustment gone wrong. If I didn't have warranty next cheapest option would have been dropping in another engine, which is a hassle...

Welcome!

Glad you got GREEN, the color others envy

Sorry you got competitive with your friends; that's not the way to keep the rubber side down (as you found out); ride your own ride. I think with practice and experience you'll find out the "little" 250 will keep up or better in the corners. I'm just happy this first lesson was relatively painless.

Also, paragraphs are your friends.
