5trstt3dygxrgctbrģ cold tires on a cold day

Ok, to be honest i did not crash but was an RCH from what could have been really ugly. I have been riding about 7 years on about 6 different bikes and never had this happen....spooked? U bet....heres what happened, i pulled away from the repair shop with no drama, rode approximately half a mile to the stoplight where i was to turn right. When the light turned green, i leaned the bike over enough to negotiate the 120 degree turn at minimal throttle and the back of the bike stepped out abruptly, i put my right foot down pretty hard to avoid dumping it and was successful in staying up right....just barely. Let me tell you i tiptoed all the way home....btw,this was on my vstrom that i now have over 50k miles on. Talk about a surprise!
Never before and i hope never again....

You didn't do enough wheelies out of the parking lot. They are necessary to bring tires up to temp

Lol Sean, you would probably die laughing if you saw how i ride that bike most of the time...like your grandma drives. I have only actually wheelied that bike one time and that was by accident leaving a stoplight at the crest of a hill.

Thats not impossible i guess, but i would tend to doubt it. Besides even if he did it became my problem as soon as i left the lot.

Not if it was only over the edge of the tire.

Never take your bike out of a repair shop without fully inspecting every inch.

Better yet,...........Never take your bike to a repair shop.
