Newbie friendly group ride??? - SF Bay Area

Anyone care to get together for a group ride in the SF Bay Area? Trying to get more experience under my belt... would love to get together with other Ninjette members or anyone that is trying to get better at riding.

Or, is anyone familiar with any group rides in the SF Bay Area (that are newbie friendly)???

Thanks in advance! Let's make this happen...

Check out bayarearidersforum.com. There's a group ride section and the ones that are labeled MGR (Mellow Group Ride) are usually labeled as newbie friendly. Read carefully in case they're not recommended for newbies though. Once in a while other newbie rides also come up. Definitely a great resource.

Thank you Rebecca! I'll be sure to check them out...

I just got my bike a little over a month ago and I would love to go riding with fellow newbies as well. I might be going to Richmond this weekend and I wouldn't mind going for a ride before I head there or after I head back. I'm from San Jose.

I've been checking on Bay Area Riders Forum (BARF) as they have more listings for group rides and social gatherings.

I would still love to get some of the forum members here, from the SF Bay Area to get together one weekend for a mellow group ride.

Hopefully we'll get some ninjetters together!

I've been meaning to do a run through Livermore (Tesla and Mines). These are really nice roads with long sweeping turns (they run through the vineyards).

Palomares and Calaveras in Castro Valley are nice roads too. I've been on Palomares and its newbie-friendly.

I love super early rides, so if you're game then we can plan something soon. (I'm talking 5:30am early; you have been warned )

We should all go on one of BigB's MGRs at the same time. Last time the ride started with 8 ninjettes. Should have a ninjette takeover

I thought he meant where in the month. Snpr really needs to learn how to articulate better.
