Not going to lie, GMR is a little tough. But as long as you respect her she will respect you When we first get there we will be taking a slow casual ride through to get everyone familiar with the road and we can check for crap laying in the road!

Also KC let me know how much it will be!

Do you have any recommendations on how to prepare? Technique or otherwise? I don't really know the form for getting your knee down etc and I'm not sure if my kevlar jeans with knee pads would exactly be right for that kind of riding. I'm always excited to learn

If you take it slow theres no need to drag knee, you have to be way the F over to drag knee lol We will teach you if you come out Its mostly about getting your butt off the seat in a turn so your leaning more with your body then with you bike!

This is mine and Adrian's last ride up there

Link to original page on YouTube.

If we get enough people to go, I'll even bring the pole

adrian takes on GMR with duct taped jeans and knee guards
i took on on with just jeans, but i dont drag knee like adrian does

first run, get used to how tight and blind the turns are
second run get your cheek off the seat
3rd run, hit the apex

knee dragging is not recommended nor needed for first timers

I only drag knee 20% of the time and because of the knee guards under I feel super safe as well as I've been hitting these turns for 2+ years now.

*The Gorilla Tape is to cover the giant hole in my jeans*LOL not used a puck

Phre3k is correct in how to take on GMR and Kevin is right- respect her and she will respect you.

Going to hit Palomar so I can decide on what the dealio is.....leaving in t minus 10 minutes.....wish me luck.

As far as the gauges,
I can't put a price on them.
I'd probably just charge you $80 when all is said and done after I custom fabricate everything and install it on your ride.
Just help me acquire the parts.
What I should be able to get for you guys is a parts list that I need!
you'd be surprised too, I have mostly everything!
Just chips and switches is it basically and maybe some shrink tubing if you want your harness that I add to look fancy!

You guys can chose where to mount the actual unit.
Gotta suit up..

Can't feel my eggs. I mean my legs. I mean both! lol
Videos coming.
For some reason I keep drifting.
Hopefully it isn't a highside knocking on my door.
Better figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Then again I suppose I may be doing it right if I'm drifting and not highsiding!

Either way, gotta try and squash that habit.

That was a sick wheelie though..

Thanks buddy, owe ya lunch and a tank of gas!

I think while I was off working and switching back and fourth between the Ninja and the GSXR Adrian got faster than me! Good work bro you're flying. Going into those corners with commitment. Just be safe!

You been on the same bike the whole time I been going back and fourth the last year.
I must not be completely used to the ninja yet again.

Palomar actually does have one pretty good sleeper. GMR much longer though and a few more sleepers. Little slower and safer too.

For some odd reason I can't get comfy again on the ninja after the GSXR. Keep getting worried I'll crash this little squerrly thing again.

Hhhhmmmm- hard to say....they both have their goods and bads......

There were some turns that were freakin' amazing! I just wanted to keep hitting them over and over and over.....dragged the knee a few times.....

They are both different and can hold their own....GMR is more technical by a smidge...Palomar offers nice sweeping turns....very clean....

Sorry-GMR wins this round....but Palomar is my second favorite...

I'm sure when you hit GMR- you'll say you like P more....

We went up and down the S.Grade a few times.....we got better and better each time....KC said I was hitting them turns hard....hahahahhaaa

We had a blast man...saw only 2-3 other bikers....

What I didn't like about P is how far you have to drive from the 76 to get there.....

We saw the observatory and the state park...but the S.grade is the road to hit....next time I go...gonna hit that road at least 6 times or more......towards the end I was memorizing the turns so it was a bit easier.....

south grade is where its at. next time you go if you want tighter turns go down south and check out mesa grande. you won't be disappointed. well you might be going up, but coming down is honestly the best road i've ever ridden

It looks funny enough on a gsxr let alone a bent frame skinny ninja.
This bike isn't right for me. Not easy for me to get into position on it.
I got used to that gsxr now I try and ride that again I'm telling you...
whole world of a difference.

It's like a bicycle with a motor on it.

slow down that cheap ninja gonna buck you over the rail haha

I haven't been on a weekend in ions....it's going to be busy so I'd say the earlier the better....do a graval/rock/dirt/debris run up first.....slow....go at your own pace.....

If someone rolls up on you--let them pass.....remember...single file up the hill....

when a group comes down...they rest...then you guys go up.....or when agroup leaves...give them 5 minutes...then you guys leave or just ride at your own pace seperately....that might be best with the more skilled rider going last in case of a mishap.
