Hey all! Great forums you have here and I have been lurking around for a while as a guest but didn't want to register till I got my ninja and guess what... I got it! 2009 ninja 250R in that oh so sexy black!

Quick fun fact: I was destined to ride a Kawasaki Ninja 250R and here is why:
I was diagnoses literally with Kawasaki Syndrome as a kid! Don't believe me? Here is the link! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_disease

So add that all up:
Kawasaki Syndrome + Ninja + small people = Kawasaki Ninja 250R!

It was just meant to be!

A little about me: 26 years old and married with a beautiful baby boy that is turning 1 in 2 days! So Cal born and raised. I went into the Marines after high school and did 2 tours in Iraq with the initial war starting on my 20th birthday (happy bday to me). I got out of the Marines about 4 years ago and have been working as a DOD contractor at Camp Pendleton CA ever since and I love it.

Thanks for the wonderful forums and TONS of great info about the Bike!

I would say if you have any of the symptoms to go get checked out because that cant be good... even if its not KS it could be just as bad.

Welcome to the insane asylum, I am currently in Cypress, working as a contractor also, retired Army. Was in Corona last weekend at Glen Eden with some friends. You live in a HOT area, whew, boy was sweating on that ride, and I loved every minuted of it.

Great purchase and welcome

i am 24 with 2 sons and let me tell you the hardest part of owning a ninja 250r is trying to find reasons to ride her (the wife needs a reason). yesterday i went to the store and "forgot" a few items....needless to say i had to ride her 3 times...LOL
