If the hill is steep enough, and the corner tight enough, it is different from flat roads. More weight on the front tire, off camber corner, body weight wants to go downhill more... It's mostly a mental game to realize that unless you're racing, it's not a big deal...now add some rain, it can be a lot for a new rider to consider. And riding in windy hilly countrysides is where there's loads of fun.
