Pops on deceleration means you are running too lean. Rejet richer or shim needles.

There is not that much remapping of the FI bikes, especially to control popping. Either put the stock exhaust back on or try putting the baffle in the slip on because that is part of what the baffle is for. Baffling noise.

Any mechanic who thinks this is related to sprockets/ gearing needs a new profession. Unless that was an unrelated comment and your sprockets need to be replaced, in which case I have to ask if you've ever done a chain lube & adjustment on your 1 year old bike.

@Abhishek

The first thing to get away the popping is to use the silencer in your slip-on. Then it should be okay already. But you can close the KLEEN air system also, what I recommend you to do.
Here you can get the plate, order PKR0018 (never mind about the second one): http://powderkegracing.com/Kawasaki%..._ZX12_ZX6.html
or take this from Slingshot: http://www.slingshotracing.net/catal...ate-p-204.html

@Skippii - It must not be lean, it can be to rich also. And please know that in India it is a FI-Version.
Did you ever in your live hear a Raceversion of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR run? The engine of this car's running really rich and it's popping in up and down shifting...

Have you tried adjusting the length or your entire system?
I don't mean cutting anything, I mean sliding the can up or down the existing stock pipe. Exhaust systems are very sensitive to length, it can affect fuel efficiency and midrange in certain circumstances, ever noticed on bikes that have tiny little stubby exhausts (like the newest Fireblade) that the pipe is all coiled up behind the fairing, it's because they need to maintain a certain length however small they want the overall package to be.

OP has a FI system. The kleen air can not be removed because it is monitored by a sensor. Removing or altering the sensor would cause the FI indicator light to come on and throw a code.

Thank you DaBlue1 for clearify.
I forgot to tell, don't disconnect the sensor keep the switch and the sensor connected, but for sure CLOSE the kleen air system.
There is still more you can do and for you to know, it's not that hard to reach 45 up to 49 hp with an EFI-Ninjette.
Especially in India you should connect with Kiirus to remap your ecu, getting 3 to 4 more hp and a cooler temperature in slow moving with also better mpg.

We talk about rejetting so much around here that it is easy to forget that some users have EFI. I know I rarely look at user statistics unless I have a reason to.... information overload these days and all.
