We'd have to get that gopro awfully close to the track to be able to get footage like that stoner video. Gopro's are really really wide angle cameras.

I have the ability to shoot 720@60 fps because I have a GoPro Hero 1. If you want the uber slow-mo like Sean has, we're going to have to recruit someone else with a camera.

Here's the plan: Sean's going to come out and "donate" the hero 3 on a tripod (which I can supply if needed) that's going to sit on the inside of the keyhole, just past apex. It will be shooting 720@120 fps so we look badass as we hook in and open her up

(don't tell the mid-o instructors and we can have Kyle smuggle it out there for us between sessions)

Dang, if only the camera had a zoom function.

Oh wait it totally has a zoom function!

I am honestly only interested in a 20 minute time frame. I normally have my lappy ready in the paddock for a camera dump at any time. It would be seriously awesome if I can slowmo any part of my entire session. Especially if I am giving someone a tow (rear facing cam), I can slowmo the corners for their review.

Could I interest you in doing that test for me, just a simple turn at a stop sign/light? Or have someone film you turning into your driveway.

What if I said please??????

Two new terms that just made me laugh:

"lappy" and "camera dump"

bahahaha sorry

No need to hide anything, remember most of the instructors are my good friends. lol

I bet we could get Kyle to take the cam and film us a bit with the high fps settings. $$ talks yo. But I don't want to pay him extra $$$ if the value is not there. Waiting for Jiggles to prove it's worth before asking Kyle to do that for us.

Put the camera on the floor and drop a plate from high up so you can see it smash into little shards.

Leave the camera next to a bird table to record the birds and squirrels that come by.

Play with flour and record it. Blow it, drop it, drop stuff in it etc

OH! Jiggs, have you figured out how to do the exhaust flame popping like @alex.s can do? That would be sweet to watch in 240 fps

more cool slow mo stuff:

and this one combines the two coolest things ever to see in slow-mo. Boobs and water balloons. Before you ask jiggles, this one is not art, it is simply a cool science demonstration. Duh.
