Would you buy motorcycle gears on ebay and/or amazon?
especially from unknown sellers? i'm a newbie and can't get passed the paranoia that these sellers would sell fake gears. so, i ended up buying from reputable and known online retailers.

SF Bay area? There should be a local forum of track riders that are selling "real" used stuff cheap.
You are smart to beware fake gear. If it looks to good to be true, it most likely is.

My jacket was purchased from Amazon. It's Klim and authentic.
2 pairs of gloves off of eBay, it's Klim and authentic. Sidi Adventure Goretex off of eBay, from Sweden. Authentic. About $1500 worth of gear, I paid only a little over half of retail. Be vigilant and save money, just don't buy no name crap.

Just he sure your buying name brands, say away from no-name Chinese stuff.
I buy a lot off eBay, and Amazon as well, it depends on prices, and shipping costs and time. I'm an Amazon Prime member, so free two day shipping is hard to beat sometimes.
