A couple of issues with my new levers...

I got my new levers from Thetwowheels, but I'm having two smallish issues.

1. They seem to wiggle a little bit. I've got the bolts that hold them down as tight as they'll go, but that doesn't really do the trick. Any of you have this issue? What did you do?

2. The brake seems to have lost alot of responsiveness. It seems like I have to pull in way more than before to get any kind of braking power… wtf?

If I remember right, someone else had an issue with wiggle in their levers from 2wheels and they used a thin washer or washers against the levers to correct it. Wish I could remember who it was.

You can find a washer at your local hardware store to help take away the freeplay, but I would avoid over-tightening the lever pivot bolts as they can sometimes bind the lever in place and prevent it from returning if they are too tight.

The levers that your purchased are adjustable. Push the lever outward, and change the dial. One is soft/close to the bars and 6 is more firm and the lever remains further outwards. Or vice versa, I forget

Careful on how much you tighten your lever bolts as I have the same levers and had my clutch bolt break in 2 while riding causing my clutch lever to fall off. It was most likely caused by a weakened bolt from my prior drop though.

I'm waiting on my levers from them. How long did it take for you to receive them from the date of your order?

I got mine from a China reseller as well but not from Thetwowheels.

Mine came in after 2 1/2 weeks. Not unusual. I have bought several things from China. Some things came in within a week and most of the time about 2 weeks plus.

My packaging was small and the levers were covered with clear plastic wrap with no packing material. Well they were fine as they were a tight fit in the box nonetheless.

The levers look good I can tell the quality is good but not like my CRGs or Pazzos I have on my other bikes. Good enough as these only cost $34 total for 2 levers. They also fit good and have the typical looseness like the stock levers so nothing unusual there. Here are some pics. I chose the shorties since I am racing the bike.

I rode the bike around and these levers perform well. Great buy for $34. And they look good too.

I have the same exact levers..great buy and totally worth the 34$. Can't find anything wrong with them at all. Nicely machined out of a block of aluminum.

Did you end up going with the green shorty levers?

Careful how you install ALL levers. If the brake doesn't fully release, it can drag the front rotor. If conditions are right, the brake will overheat and lock up or be over pressured and will not relax the grip on the front rotor. Just happened to my friend a few days ago.
