Bay Area ninjetters come ride prairie city dirt track this sat!

This Saturday 10/5, a small group of friends are renting the prairie city dirt track for us to play and do some dirt track schooling.

We are starting at 11am and have it till 3. Open practice with no divided sessions.

Price will be determined based off how many go but expect it to be under $100 the more that show up then the waaay less it'll be.

You can rent bikes from brok there. I'll have to get more details tonight on that but usually its $25. You will need your own gear though. I have some and a few other people have some. Lets chat about making some arrangements.

Your bike doesn't need slicks or dirt track tires. Knobbies are ok.

Check out the location and track. http://prairiecitydirttrack.com/

This will be a very low key event where you can practice riding a dirt bike on a tt course. Learn how to slide, back it in, and even get comfortable jumping. It's open to everyone of all skill levels just please be able to operate a motorcycle and be comfortable on a course with other riders.

Pm me or call/text if you're interested. We can carpool although I only have room for one other bike.

If anyone else is interested and needs to rent a bike I need to know ASAP.

We should be doing another one of these events if anyone is curious. And make it more classroom oriented.

Maybe I'll swing by and say Hi. I need to take a beginner's class.

FYI, there's an air show this weekend which will likely increase traffic on 50.

I doubt the air show traffic will be that bad but I wouldn't mind checking that out too. If you do swing by say that you're just going to the dirt track or the tt track. You won't have to pay a gate fee that way.

Boo more people should've come cuz it was a fun time! Here's the little bike I rode for the day. I now know what it feels like to be a normal sized person on a bike

Rebecca can officially say that she rode a dirt bike. She even found the ground in the first corner... Like a true dirt rider lol! By the end of the day she was saving rear slides and planting her foot.

The rest of you ninjetters need to make an effort to do some flat track and TT. The skills that we practiced will make you better rider. Plus who doesn't want to jump a motorcycle, back it in for days, and pull a wheelie coming off a corner sideways?

We can get a group together and have an instructional day. Or just spend a day avoiding me sliding into you while I cut you off lol.

Contrary to popular belief, even Cam goes down once in a while so no reason to be intimidated

Yes, please! Hate that I missed this because of a sketchy weekend schedule. Consolation prize, found out I didn't have stuff to do and ended up on a BARF ride doing laps on Altamont Pass.

Ahh... the glories of sitting in 6th gear and the throttle pinned from start to finish. Almost got a knee down so I'm happy.
