Harley rider showing how it's done.

What do you all think the suspension travel is on this Harley? For more like this, see this link: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29723

No doubt.

I like the trials hardtail Harley as well. These guys would chew me up, spit me out, and laugh at the trembling mess in the dirt.

They still make that same bike for only $25,000. Really though, Harleys were bad ass in their day, but everything else got better and left them behind.
I do love the old photo though! I have posters of old cafe racers and stuff all over the place.

Can I play?

I'm not the biggest HD fan, but here's a couple bad ass HD shots.

Pretty sure this is a HD -

This IS a HD, Rex Beauchamp -

I'm trying to picture how this mentality would affect modern motocross bikes. You would have to be so damned high in the air to scrape, hell on a freestyle mtb I've seen people do jumps that looked high enough to clear a 2 story house and land just fine.

just to fit in, good old steve mcqueen being a badass kid flat track racing.

It was more of an "inspirational" thing to say. But... if they keep makin' the bikes better, they will keep jumpin' higher and pushin' the limits even further. Triple & quad backflips are coming.

This is going to be my new riding partner in a month or so, a buddy is getting his "48" Harley going that his Grandfather left him 25 yrs. ago. The Army video reminds me of some old videos of his grandfather racing this Harley in the annual Turkey run with the Peoria Motorcycle Club.
