Tail of the Dragon

Long rides on a Ninja 250 are possible, and fun. I went on a trip with 5 friends
over Memorial Day weekend. Chicago to Deals Gap, Tail of the Dragon.
We left Thursday morning and back home Monday night. The 250 was great,
never left behind, never felt out of place. Plenty of power on the highways,
cruising at 80, and great on the Dragon.
The other bikes ranged in size from a 1600 cc Triumph Thunderbird, to
a 955 Triumph Sprint st. On the way there we stopped for the night about half way in Louisville, but on Monday we came back in one day. 660 miles covered
that day, 1900 total on the 5 day trip.
The Ninja can do it all.

We have like 8-12 people coming up August 11-13. When is this rally?
Oh yea and we are looking at getting a big a$$ cabin if people want to come chill after with us. Ill start a thread as soon as our group knows.

Our Aug 2-5 trip will be to Asheville, although I'm sure we may make a trip to dragon, we won't be focusing on that area.

So count me in for that 11-13th trip if that's cool!!

Some of the bikes on the trip, KLR 650s one day for off road, and the Ninja
loaded up and ready to go.

Deff! I will probably be the only 250 going. We have a bunch of 600's a 1000 and a buell that will be going with us. None the less it will be a great time!
