The future of motorcycling???

Link to original page on YouTube.

I would like to have an e-bike one day. With bikes like this that day might not be too far away.

This is neat!

During the whole first half of the video, Jay is looking like he's ready to grab some leathers and head out for a ride.

Lol, his chin was so far out of the helmet, guess that is why people make fun of his chin haha.

Cool bike though. With the amount of torque electric vehicles put out people are going to have to be careful with the throttle.

OMG! His chin sticks out of a full-face helmet and wags when he talks! No Leno caricature ever made does this justice! I literally could not stifle my laughter.

I'd love to have one. The sound is like a jet fighter.

Actually, these are real MOTORcycles, where as the internal combustion is an ENGINE, this has an electric MOTOR.

Uh oh. It isn't letting me watch it on the YouTube page but I can still watch embedded. Looks like it's getting taken down. Edit: Hmm. And now it works. Weird.

Even Leno does it! Leave's his blinker on way after the turn! @13:48 LOL! Newbie!

And as much as I love Leno's Garage, you think he would have a helmet that fits!
Half his face was sticking out under that helmet!

Sweet video though! Can't wait for the MissionR 250!

A guy at my school mad his own electric bike. I'd take a picture of it if I could, but I haven't seen it in a while. It was basically a frame, wheels, and like 10 car batteries. Oh, and bundles on bundles of cables. Looked more dangerous than efficient.

The sound of these bikes is like something out of a science fiction movie. Totally cool!

One of those Brammo videos was a direct thematic reference to the scene in The Dark Knight with the electric Bad Pod motorbike-thing, so I doubt that's what it really sounds like.

I do love the sound of a well tuned IC motor. I like the feel and vibration of riding a motorcycle. I don't know if could ever want a full electric bike though. However, I've been competing in R/C planes and helicopters that use nitro methane, tuned pipes, etc., but I've recently converted to electric. Lots of advantages, no gunk, valves, and mechanical crap to deal with... just bat, motor and go. The future for motorcycles will be interesting.
