2010 Halloween Pumpkins

Lets see em!

Here are my three:

Two of them are haunted houses, two of them are 'shadowed' and one is a black widow spider!

The far left haunted house has a shadow of ghosts and the black widow has a shadow that says "trick-or-treat" .

I'll get better pictures later. Phil needed my camera to go to Eastern State Penn tonight.

The last haunted house in the dark:

I didn't see this thread anywhere else if there is one already feel free to tell me and I'll post there.

Mmm I am not sure Alex. Thats kind of a loaded question...

Thanks guys! It takes patients I have when doing crafts but mostly I don't have it. I also do it because Phil's Aunt really enjoys Halloween and we weren't able to decorate so I made these to help out

Very nice! How long does it take you to carve each one?

That is just wrong! I happen to know, not from personal experience of course but through other means... That there are websites dedicated to helping those in your position. Perhaps you should give them a looksee.. Try googling ... Melon Love...

(I am sooo teasing!)

As for how long... It depends on the design. The spider one was my warm up and it took me maybe twenty minutes to place the design and carve it out. Pitting isn't very long. I have a beautiful scraper that works really well.

The two haunted houses took a bit more because of the details. In total I think it was... about three hours? Give or take a break or two.
