Hello From Pacific Northwest
Yes it true it rains a bunch up here in Oregon, but there are tons of riders I see every sunny day, so I guess the bug bit me and I got me a Ninja 250. Its a 1st gen beauty, 1992 with 3500 miles on it. I am going to take a Basic riders course so I can learn the proper way to ride and try to be safe as possible. I am looking into getting all the safety gear and wearing it every time I ride. If your in the Salem, Oregon area or even in PDX we should meet up in the summer when I have some miles built up underneath me. I can't wait to chat with people who share the same passion for our Ninjette's as I do.

Welcome to the addiction. glad to hear that you are doing things the correct way, by getting some edumucation and getting the gear. Once you get comfortable riding, the passion will grab you and then you will find yourself stealing away to get in a ride, floating down the endless ribbons of black, carving curves in the hills and sporting a permasmile every time you doff your helmet. enjoy and have fun.
