Talking Ogio No Drag Backpack

Just thought I would give a quick review of my new pack. Just got it this morning. I wore it around the house for an hour with 0 discomfort. I had it fully loaded with my jacket, boots, school notebooks, gigantic ti graphing calculator, and my helmet on the backside. Interior has a lot of room.

Feels pretty good while you're riding down the road at any speed. Very light weight pack. The padding is a good half inch to 3/4 in thick memory foam. Audio pocket is pretty sweet. All in all it is well worth the $139 I paid for it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to run a tank bag.

The exterior is made of textile and hard composite rubber. It has 2 ventilation ports that I believe are just for looks. The interior is pretty intense. There's no shortage of pockets and space. There is a hydration sleeve(pack not included). Laptop sleeve and a compartment for notebooks or folders. There are no larger zippered compartments on the inside which was a slight let down. It has 2 sleeves inside to hold shoes or flip flops. On the bottom out side of the pack is a compartment which holds the helmet hood which is scratch resist microfiber. The straps are also padded and have clip straps and hip straps to keep it from riding up in wind.

My girlfriend bought me this backpack for Christmas; I love it! It's got tons of volume for holding stuff and the profile works really well on the bike. I love how the zipper is on the back side so you're sure nothing is coming loose while riding.

That is my second favorite thing about it. First is that I can hardly tell it's there while riding.

A hard tail bag would be nice. I was going to get one of their hard shell packs but couldn't get one at a reasonable price. This one would be great.

I don't think a hard shell backpack is the brightest idea. If you go down, the last thing you want to do is have it twist your back. I have the ogio no drag as well and it is a great bag- after you tape up the lower straps. I don't like having them go around my waist and there's no pockets to hid them in. I ended up duct taping them together.

Is this backpack any good for a 14.1" laptop? And what if I go down with it, will the laptop be protected?

It will fit most 15 inch laptops. and the good thing about where the laptop holder is it is right against your back. Cant say it'll be protected but it will be better than most other packs.

I used the audio pouch and headphone pass through in the shoulder strap on my last ride and it worked GREAT. Much less of a hassle than when I would thread the headphone wire under my shirt since the wire would always get snagged/pulled.

I also took this pack when I rode with my girlfriend last weekend and carried the pairs of shoes and jeans in it with some room to spare.

I have the Oigo Less Drag backpack. Its smaller than the No Drag, but has the same shape. It works great for 15" laptops, the larger pouch is smaller than on the No Drag, and doesn't have shoe pockets, its just a big open space.

It works for me though, I like it!

I just got the standard No Drag backpack today. There were two others but I preferred the standard one. The Mach 3's interior wasn't as good, although I liked the hip straps. Another one has the zipper on the house.

I took it for a two-hour ride today and it's no comparison to a standard backpack. I can't believe that I didn't get this thing sooner.

The helmet hood is perfect as I don't have my hands tied up holding my helmet anymore.

I do have this bag. I love it. I hate the fact that they came out with the upgrade to this wonderful bag already.

I put a jacket, boots, dslr camera full size, and laptop with no problem. Anyone looking for the best bike bag, or bag in all, buy it. I would have killed, or at least hurt really bad, for one as a kid to take to school.

Wish I could wear a backpack properly, but with my race hump it makes things a little hard.

I wish it was a quick on and off removable hump, but it really does help when you go 100mph+....not on a 250 of course.
