Weird chain noise.
So when I am riding, if someone is next to me they can hear a weird clicking noise coming from the chain. I am not sure if this is normal or if the chain is doing something it is not supposed to do. And ALSO, I dropped my bike the other day and since then the front brake lever doesn't activate until pressed down much further then should be. Im wondering if since, I don't know lots about bikes I should just take it somewhere and have them do a check up or something? 2012 Ninja 250

Chains aren't really the quietest of parts on the bike but do you know how to clean/lube and check for proper slack of your chain? If not, as a rider you should. It's super easy and only take a few minutes. As far as your brakes, you need to be able to measure the thickness of the pads to ensure they are not below spec befor you hear them grinding against the rotors. Got a friend that can teach or help you with these things?
Best guess of what you have going on... You need to clean/lube and tighten your chain. You need to check the fluid, pads and overall condition of your brakes and rotors. Replace fluid, pads and bleed the system as needed. You got this! Otherwise, post here, ask around or find you a tech you can trust.

A chain usually makes more noise when it's too tight than when it's too loose.
Check the chain tension. To do it properly you need to check for a tight spot. Spin the wheel and check it every 90 degrees for the tightest spot - that's where you set the slack. If you don't do that first, there's a good chance it will end-up being too tight at some point. Here's a good How-To - http://canyonchasers.com/video/chain.php |

If the lever doesn't look deformed and the level of fluid inside the master cylinder is OK, I would take it to a reputable mechanic for a quick check.
