Thumbs up A new dude

Bonjour! My name is Nick and I'm a dreamer. One of my dreams are is to get involved in motorcycling. My interest in motorcycling started when my mom brought me a drivers manual home. Being the nice mom she is, she also brought me a motorcycle manual. Though, it was in Spanish. So, the "Manual de la Motocicleta" would not be very helpful. Next thing you know I was looking up motorcycles, and was hooked as if I just snorted coke (I have never done drugs for the record).

My dream is to get a Ninja 250R. The 2011 version specifically. I get my drivers and motorcycle permit in a few months. After 6 months and the MSF course and buying gear and hopefully a Neenja I can start riding just like everyone else! I just this forum so that I feed my want for a motorcycle. I am about to blow up because I can't ride. I don't think I've wanted anything more in my life.

Hopefully this forum is fun and interesting! Hope to make friends!

~nIcK

Welcome!

The Ninja 250 is a great starter bike and is plenty capable well beyond "beginner rider".

I know! I don't even plan on getting anything bigger. If I do, then it is going to be a touring bike or sport touring. One day, if I have the money, I want to have two bikes, one for track, one for commuting. But dreams never happen the way I want them to in my life. So! Oh well!

Also, I love the 250 partay!

Brakes do come in handy. Or maybe I'll just get a pre-1971 bike so it doesn't have to have brakes

My mom is definitely up there, since she said she would let me ride motorcycles. But as all women are, they sometimes are a bit annoying.
