Really enjoyed watching that.

I don't know how you guys can get so comfortable riding so close to each other in and out of blind spots. Do you feel paranoid at all when you're turning that someone is going to fly across your path?

Thanks! This is actually video from my son's bike, he's the racer. He (is 14) and his buddy, Dante (#81 who is only 15) have be racing this close for two seasons now. They have a blast! They have a great friendship off the racetrack too. They share notes and swap ideas and tips and have 100% trust in each other. His dad and I always stand together to watch the races too. We all love it!

It was a good watch.

The comfort comes with time. And as racers, we expect other racers to hold their lines. But what you are seeing is #81 werkin' it trying to find a way around and he did get around a few times. One does not simply take that many chances without some amount of faith that the rider ahead will not do something completely boneheaded. This kinda back and forth battling for position is what makes racing great fun to watch and even more fun to ride for those who possess the predisposition.

Also, did you notice they passed a couple of sv's?

@csmith12 - didn't notice. Those young guys have got skill; more skill than I'll probably have for a long time. I imagine they'd lap me after like 3 laps of that circuit.
@ally99 - that front wheel looks troublesome.

Shame, because you otherwise look so confident and in control! That's some mental lean you've got going. I take it you're working your shiny 300 as hard as you did your 250?

I've tracked the new one once and loved it! It's mostly a commuter/pleasure street bike though. Situations change and money is tighter than it was 2 years ago, so 1-2 track weekends a season is about all I get. Less just makes me love every single corner even more.
