So it seems that I will no longer be riding

at least until after June

10 weeks along tomorrow, baby due on 6/30/10, but with my history will likely come earlier. With the weather and the growing belly, riding is likely over for me for a bit - but I have gotten in a couple of really great rides since - it's just been really nerve-wracking worrying about everything that could go wrong since I have a passenger with me now - it's not worth the stress I don't think at this point

But I say that now - who knows what I'll do to get my next fix when we have another warm sunny day like this past weekend!

It's alright, you just have to find a jacket with a titanium womb protector and your set. That way they'll be addicted to the road before they're even born

Congratulations ^_^

Congratulations, Kim! Maybe Ninjette will become a family heirloom. And maybe she will become the future mount of your progeny, by which time her 75 mpg will be more than appreciated. And please stay around, so we can all try to make you jealous.

Congatulations Kim. I think you are making the right choice by not riding. There is always next summer. Best wishes go out to you.

Long time to be off the bike.

So if you get an unexpected run of good weather can't you just drink some Sta-Bil and plug a Battery Tender into your belly button so the baby will keep for a while?

Congrats!

Congratulations! Bright blessings to all!

Twenty something years ago, I was in a fairly heinous motorcycle accident; we got hit by a car. About a month later, I found out I was expecting. The baby, however, came four weeks earlier than expected.....and the doctor concluded at that point that I had indeed been preggers at the time of the crash. Was I, really? I really don't know, but if I was, my son is one lucky little bugger!

Having said that, kudos to you for giving it a rest for now. I can't think of a better reason.

Aww congrats!! I've heard that the more time you spend on motorcycle forums while pregnant the greater the chance that the baby will ride and be a great motorcyclist. Just what I heard...so while your preggers make sure to use this site habitually. Congrats!!!

Oh, is that so? Maybe Valentino Rossi's mom was reading a motorcycle mag while he was being conceived?

About Kim, I doubt that she could resist visiting Ninjette.org habitually, nor could riding her Ninjette for long either (after next June that is).

And about her baby, he/she has a super-cool mom.
