Most adventurous thing you've done?

So what tops your list for the most adventurous things you've ever done?
Mine would be:

Riding a motorcycle to begin with.

Then riding on the track and dragging knee through corners. One of life's top moments!

I've also gone skydiving.

Some smaller adventures include:
Mountain biking
Traveling (Hawaii, Mexico, Vegas)
Water and snow skiing
Ice skating
Surfing (I suck)
Taekwondo

My most adenturous thing I've done to date is skydiving. That was a blast and I'd do it again.
My next adventurous thing to do is learn to fly a glider and get my private pilots license. I can't wait. I've had a few flights and they were a blast.

I bet Cowboy! What a task!

One thing on my list that I want to do is hang gliding. Or learn to use one of those awesome flight suits!

Go skydiving with a flight suit. It's the closest you can get to flying like a bird!

Moto X, Hare Scrambles, picking Mavericks as my first place to learn how to surf (I think that counts as the dumbest thing). I think what takes the cake is conquering my fear of heights by climbing an 80 ft. Tree and then leaping from a hunters stand to a trapeese bar (I did have rigging lol).
I do want to skydive one day.

Scuba diving in Kota Kinabalu Malaysia, sky diving, night life in pattaya beach thailand, divorce after 14 yrs, scuba wreck penetration here on guam (scary), working at a bar, snowboarding in northern japan, taking the train in tokyo, motor scootering in Bali (feared for my life on this one), driving in malaysia, and thailand (again feared for my life and others on the road).

Cliff diving in Jamaica and in the cenotes of the Yucatan. Diving off the coast of SC with 100's of barracuda and sharks was a close 2nd.

Depends on who was asked. I don't really think anything is out of the ordinary to me or adventurous. However, my wife thought the motorcycle was dangerous. My mom thought the same, but also thinks the same about mountain biking. Some would say scuba diving. Meh, I dunno.

Where at? The tallest they had open to the public in Jamaica (Ricks Cafe) was only 35ft but did some 60ft dives in Mexico. Even the one at Ricks, I hit the water hard enough to rip the crotch out of my trunks. lol 70ft was just plain insane.

Skiing Jackson Hole.

When cliff jumping from that high, hold tight to what you got or they will be hurting.

Nelsons landing
about 45 minutes outside of vegas
tons of cliffs all different heights
so awesome
I go usually every other week from spring to fall, although mid summer is the best temperature of the water is perfect
There's miles of cliffs the tallest ones take some serious hiking to get to.

Trick is to keep your legs tightly closed and make your body as thin as possible like a pencil and you'll be fine. Some people dive off head first, but the most I've been able to do head first is about 20 feet

20 is about my head first limit. About 6 months after my shoulder surgery, I was doing backflips from 30ft. I quit when I didn't land right, got disoriented and was swimming down instead of up.

Wife said, 1st... you shouldn't be diving in the first place, 2nd, your an idiot, 3rd, your not really all that good at diving anyway, 4th, do you see any lifeguards here? 5th, your an idiot. So I figger.... life is about give and take, so I said "go get my a long island for each hand and pull me up a chair up next to the 10ft platform". The 10ft platform is where all the pain happened. Belly busters, and back smacks from people that really had no business jumping at all.

Driving cross country, RI to CA and back. Skated at every stop, saw lots of awesome places, and met lots of cool people in unlikely places. If anyone's from Madison, WI, you've got an awesome town. If the weather was better than here, I'd move in heartbeat.

1. Motorcycling
2. Hiking
3. Jetski
4. Parasailing (took my Drift camera)
5. Met someone online and visited them in another country.
6. Ice Skating (long time ago)
7. Martial Arts (Tae kwon do, sparring tournaments, etc)
8. Travel (Canada, Mexico, etc)

The next adventurous thing that I want to do, is try some white water rafting. I'm looking at this upcoming Spring to do that, hopefully. I would also like to try snowboarding/skiing, rent an rv and go across the U.S, travel the world, etc. I love a bit of adventure, but I mostly love to explore life in general.

I sailed around on a 26 foot sailboat, solo (most of the time) for 6 years. Met a lot of interesting people and far too many women.

Too many women?>?!! no such thing.
Whats the Capacity of a 26ft sail boat. I bet you can fit 5-6 babes on that comfortable like on a nice sunny day…. I bet you bought sun tan lotion by the GALLON hahahaha

Life is an adventure… I try to make every dan an adventure.. going places Ive never been to meet new people and do new things. Met a guy last night with a triumph daytona. he showed me around the town. Fun ride and finally got to open up the GSXR a bit.

Some of my more memorable moments

Skinny dipped in a quarry in russia after drinking a fifth of vodka and being shocked by a stun gun….. it was a birthday party(thats just how they do)

Rented a ex650 in thailand and rode two up, to the top of PoInthonon (no ridding gear, didn't have any) and took a walk down a nature trail.

7 day canoe trip in the Adirondack park was nice

Drove from Rochester NY to OK city OK in under 18 hours.

Driving and noticed a sign that said flying lessons- Paid a random guy 100$ and got to fly a glider for 45min. It was a slow day for me and the airport so walk in and fly.

Went looking for sharks snorkeling on Koh Tao…. and found them lol

Got chased by feral dogs coming home from a bar on San Salvador Island.

just the good old crazy memories off roaming camping etc

bungi corded a sleeping bag to the back of my cruiser and rode out to Watkins Glen last fall for the grand prix, no tickets no plans just a little adventure it worked out nice except the ride home in the rain loll

Life is an adventure and there are opportunities everyday to meet new people go new places eat new foods and gain new insights!

Ha, well for what it's worth, I do background/screen checks on people first. I will say, that because of me going, I am pretty familiar with a particular area in Mexico. I brought my family the next two times, they fell in love and now it's our "thing" to go and have fun. I love taking the plunge and exploring new things, especially traveling/new scenery.

when i was 15 i went to japan to speak japanese. i was impressed by how radically different the subcultures of downtown tokyo were from what i expected and from what is portrayed in media. from the tokyu basement fish market to being in roppongi after curfew, nothing was as i expected and everything surprised me. probably the most astonishing thing to me was the japanese surf/skate culture and how it borrowed from so many others while still taking it and making it its' own. by far the strangest thing i've had the chance to attend was a business meeting at this restraunt (http://www.ninjaakasaka.com/) it was an 11 course meal that i'm told cost $300 per person (i did not pay for it)

also, this one was fun:

I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THIS!

The name of the ride - Verrückt - is German and translates as “insane”.
After climbing 264 steps to the top, riders are strapped to a four-person raft before they plunge down the slide at around 62 miles per hour.
It's taller than the Statue of Liberty - and Niagara Falls.
