What piece went missing?

I have a hole in my handlebar. I've never noticed what went there before. It looks like it should fit a bolt. On the right side there's a plug of some sort in (almost) the same place. So - what am I missing? Where/how do I replace it? How bad is it that it's missing? It rained the other day and I'm not sure when I lost it, did I be concerned about water getting... somewhere?

Welcome J!

Sounds like your missing a bar end. If so, then there are no real worries.

Those plastic plugs are where mirrors could mount but aren't used on the Ninjette's

Don't worry about it.

Welcome J!
My memory is a little rusty but if I recall correctly; mine has those too. But; someone will be along soon to give you the correct answer. That's one of the great things about this forum: the people & quality info are incredibly good and friendly!

Dang! I was too fast with my reply. No worries here aside of a missing plug in the unused hole.

I think the OP tricked us into answering early (& wrong!): there were no pictures when I first read his post!!!

You can mount a RAM 1" ball mount there too, works well for gopro, cellphone holder, etc.

It's meant for mirrors on some bikes, but works great for RAM balls to mount accessories (phone, gps, MP3 player).

That's a good idea for the Ram ball. I was also thinking something similar. Does anyone know what size bolt it takes?

I think its 10mm. I used that also for RAM ball where I attach my phone or GPS holder.

It's this one: http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-349U

The RAM-B-349U includes a M10 x 1.25 pitch male thread connected to a 1" rubber ball.

And to give Dr Yeager a plug for how it looks - http://www.theyeagergroup.com/ninja_250_RAM_Mount.htm
