2 Million Bikers attack DC for 9/11

There are '2 million bikers' headed towards D.C. right now
4 hrs ago
In what will surely be good news to the city's already-harried commuters, a small army of motorcycles is currently bearing down on the city, intent on spending the day biking through it after being denied a National Park Service permit to assemble on the National Mall. Due to D.C.'s laws governing parades and permits, the bikers' intending 9/11 tribute will go unperturbed by law officials, despite the heinous gridlock it will presumably entail. "What could have been a one or two hour ride through will now likely be an all day event," the event organizers said on Facebook. The event is generally being seen as a response to the now-renamed "Million American March against Fear" (It had previously been known as the "Million Muslim March," which is a protest against government surveillance and "alleged post-9/11 authoritarianism" taking place on the National Mall, according to US News. We just hope everything goes smoothly for all parties, permit or not.

All they wanted was a police escort to help control traffic but were denied. Not sure if anyone has looked up the most recent news on this, but thousands of bikers came out for this and only a couple hundred for the muslim thing, and part of those Muslim numbers include those who are there protesting against them. LOL

Ok, then is the "Denied" thing solely for the police escort or where they denied the ability to ride on public streets on their planned route? If they were only denied a 5.0 escort, then this was blown WAAAAYYYYY out of proportion, if not then I don't see how they can prevent them from riding on public streets. I CAN see them detouring them to address traffic flow though.

Also not sure what the muslim thing has to do with this?

I think they wanted to gather at the national mall too, but were denied permit for that, but muslims were given access

Get enough bikers in a group & they can take over any road. Outriders pull up across the lanes at a junction & the whole lot go through, outriders slot in to the rear & work their way up. With a leader, sweeper, group of outriders & a bit of co-ordination they can do the escort run themselves.

Biggest run I was on had a few hundred on it, we blocked the on-ramps to the motorway & went through en-masse 5/6 across.

Washington under attack... Did the bikers build schools, hospitals, roads, and pay off the locals?
