Hello from London

Just got here a couple of hours ago. Hanging out for the day, eating a club, then rest for a bit. Probably heading to the market later on for some more goodies. I love it over here.

R&R day today...

Oh, and I look out of the window of my flat and what do I see??? An Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. IT WAS MEANT TO BE!!!!

Good point...

A proper roundabout. Keeps traffic moving much better than a 4-way stop. Don't know why they don't have these in the states....oh yeah, too many people can't drive over there.

In the cab going to the flat

View out of my balcony door (see the black car right there? Niiiiccceee!)

Have tea and scones for me! Oh, and a crunchie!. Mmm, and beans on toast.
And beer. Lots of good beer... Try Old Thumper if you can find it (it's from a microbrew in Winchester)

It was a fun trip, back home now. Hung around Kew Gardens in London (around Surrey). Then that Friday we hopped on a train and trucked it to Paris. We hung out there until Sunday afternoon. Then we came back to London and went to a hotel where my wife's group from work was having a conference.

We met up with some people for dinner that Sunday. I was talking with some about the best way for me to get to Heathrow to fly out Monday (yesterday). Lucky for me, I rubbed shoulders with one of the higher ups husbands, and he said he would be more than happy to take me to the airport, not to worry about a train or cab. I thanked him several times. True to his word, the following day, we took off to the airport together. It was a non-stop exchange of talking. We got along rather well and laughed quite a bit. Hopefully that will leave a good impression for my wife within her group.

I hope, I wanna come back again.

Yeah, yeah a likely story, we all know that this is what you were really up to!

I'll take an Omega Seamaster chrono to stay quiet about it

Creative!

C'mon, who wouldn't want to ride a motorcycle or drive a car through a shopping mall. Reminds me of this:

They've been doing it that way for a while, first heard it from a housemate last year whose sister works for an upmarket jewellers in London that was turned over that way, it's the first time I've heard of them going indoors tho.

Yeah motorcycles are the vehicle of choice for several smash and grab jobs over there. Most of the ones I've seen fail miserably in one way or another.

Just like you this is the first indoor one I've heard of.
