Hello from Pittsburgh!
Hi, Im Barb. I've had my new to me '09 Blue Ninja 250 for about a week now. I bought it with a bald rear tire and have just been tooling around the industrial park at night when there's no traffic.
I ordered new tires from a local shop. They took 3 days to come in. My boyfriend followed me on the bike to the shop 30 minutes before closing and the guy came out, looked at the tire, said yeah this rear tire is really bad you shouldnt ride on it at all. Then said well you can leave it for the weekend (long holiday weekend) or come back Tuesday. WHAT THE HECK DUDE?! You cant change my obviously dangerous tire in 30 minutes?! Is it just this shop or do you all get that too? Im dying to get the tire replaced and the $2,800 of gear I ordered online (11 jackets and 2 helmets) hopefully tomorrow! I cant wait!!! I'll have to post pics of my gear once I figure out which ones fit. Does anyone know what the biggest womens size Alpinestars actually fits? |

There's a auto tire place that changes and sells motorcycle tires out in mt. pleasant, I know its a little far for you but nice ride out, they change tires for $20 per wheel take off, and charge a little more to do it with wheels on bike. I order my tires from www.motorcyclesuperstore.com free shipping. Let me know when you are comfortable to ride further than south park I will be back from the beach around the 24th or so, maybe we can hook up for a ride with shane from on here.
