You really think most bikes from the 80s will have all of their original stickers? I also said untrained eye. Meaning most people will only look at the shape of the bike.

I would have noticed the twin discs up front, lower bars and the larger rear wheel before I noticed a sticker though...just me.

lol, it says right there, ijs.... just pokin' for good fun hahahahahah.

I personally love the bike, the paint and other mods also aids in affirming it's a 750. It's very tastefully done.

Nope. Mine is green, less two cylinders, carbs, fewer 500cc, and less one rotor and caliper up front. Among many other various differences in a bike like that compared to my 250.

I sure wouldn't mind that red and white 750 though.

today at a gas station some guy ran up to me and started touching my boots, he wanted to buy them right off my feet! Spidi vr6 boots.. He then proceeded on about how my 900 was awesome and he wishes he could still ride bikes like mine, then ran off.

Usually people just tell me that my bike is cool but rockets are so uncomfortable, then ask why I didn't get a cruiser.
I then tell them I can't stand cruisers as I broke my tailbone twice as a kid and the sitting position combined with the vibration of the bike makes my ass hurt after 10 mins of riding. The stance of the Ninja puts absolutely no pressure whatsoever on my tailbone.

Flipped my lid back down and turned.

Could have said, would have said, should have said...

- Then why aren't you out enjoying your awesome lawnmower?
- Your lawnmower probably uses twice the gas and is only half the fun.
- Do you take it to the track?
- Try mowing the lawn on two wheels next time. Much more fun.
- Does it burn your bum when you sit on it?

Got any more? I may need a list until I can go a bit faster...

Lawn mowers are fun to ride until you get seen on it ...

First street bike was a Yamaha 1967 100, only thing I could afford when I was sixteen and it was an old bike at the time. Doubling a friend a cop pulls me over.
Cop: Does that have insurance
Me: show him the pinks, produce all documents
Cop: Sorry, I really didn't think you had insurance on the thing
we got into a great conversation about bikes after that.

Many times did I hear the lawn mower analogy (but it was close to the truth), but I didn't care as I had two wheels under me.

Funny: Hey, you make that R1 look like a 750, lol.

Weird: Guy gives me the thumbs up, then shows me his nipple. Thats just wrong showing another guy your nipple. (Jiggles, your just weird)

Sarcasm: That must be fast? Nope it just looks kewl!

Honda 450, I traded for dirt bike. The person freshly rebuilt it and forgot to put the piston clips back in. Month later sitting at intersections I heard.
"Hey what's the oil mileage on that?"
"I think your bikes on fire!"
"Mind turning it off", at that point I rebuilt it.

Why does your $4000 bike have a $500 exhaust? My favorite. Because I like it!
Why didn't you just put a weedwacker motor on your pedal bike? = What my brother said when he found out about my bike.

I really don't like being told I'm gonna kill myself on my bike. I haven't gotten any comments about not having a fast enough bike yet, but I don't intend to let it get to me when I bring her to college and people inevitably talk mess.

One thing I've learned about college kids is that they're all nearly raging idiots, not much brighter than a high schooler. They can be, most just choose not to unless they're in a classroom setting.

ive actually had no comments on how my 250 isnt fast enough, weedwacker engine, ect. the only comments ive had r either "cool bike" or for the most part "ur gunna kill urself, those are semi-truck magnets, coffin on 2 wheels, you wont live past 6 months, enjoy being a hood ornament, ect." keep in mind im 26 yrs old have ridden motorcycles before, never had an accident in a car or bike and has been over 6 years since my last speeding ticket which was like 6mph over (lotta speed traps around). also ive taken defensive driving twice and the MSF course. its seems people who dont ride are just ignorant and rude most of the time when comes to motorcycles.

I was at O'Relly's and a guy comes up to me, I was wearing all my gear, and holding my helmet -

Guy: What do you ride?
Me: a Ninja
Guy: Oh that 250 out there?
Me: Yea
Guy: Should have gotten a 600
Me: should've, could've, would've.... (as I walked away)

Must be something about car part guys (aka people who don't ride but think they know everything about everything with a motor). I got almost the same speech, in an O'Reilly's, whilst buying my battery tender.

I'm a little confused why just because people don't know about motorcycles, they are idiots, I mean do you remember when you didn't know as much, and every time you saw a new bike, you got exicited. I do.

But i'm all for bashing the ignorant people... guy at church asked me if it was a starter bike, a 600... I told him no, 250... He says, oh so a real starter bike, asked me if it came with training wheels. He rides a ducati, mentions something about a top speed. I told him it's small enough to keep me outta trouble!

Have not thought of any come backs yet for some of the crap i hear. Seems like people are quick to hate cause it's a 250.
The guy at work said nice bike. What is that the 600? Said nah 250 pretty nice huh? His response was " I wouldn't want to make my friends wait up for me".
Wish I had something smart ass to say. But I didn't. Just told him doesn't matter to me , I don't ride with anyone.

My brother would always call my bike a little scooter/moped or a small dirt bike and enjoys making fun of my "250cc bike". He came to visit this past weekend yet wanted to ride my little ole 250. Let's just say he wouldn't get off it and I had to force him to give me my bike back because he wanted to ride around all day. Now he has much respect for my little 250 and admitted he loved it.
I never understand why alot of people have no respect for a 250cc motorcycle...I can truly say this has to be the perfect beginner bike for anyone male or female.

I was filling up at the gas station the other day when the person across from me at the pump had the balls to say "Motorcycles are dangerous, you're going to get killed riding that thing.". I looked him dead in the eyes and said "You know what else is dangerous? Talking **** to someone you dont know.". I think I may have scared him a bit as he cut his fill up short and got into his beater civic rather quickly.

Now that I think about it, it was probably rude to say, but I really am sick of people saying dumb things like that.

I think I may have scared him a bit as he cut his fill up short and got into his beater civic rather quickly.

Now that I think about it, it was probably rude to say, but I really am sick of people saying dumb things like that.

I was standing beside my bike the other day while I put on my helmet and gloves. The rider of the bike parked in front of me came over and "Nice bike. Is it a 6 or a 1?" Totally confused, I reply "What do you mean?" "Is it an R6 or R1?" I just smile inside my helmet and tell him "Nah, It's a Ninja 250r". He just nodded and said his friend was wanting to get one.
