Angry Lowsided my 250 into a ditch

I was riding on Monday and as I was coming around a turn some jackass was yelling and waving at me. In the split second I looked at him, I went wide on the turn. I tried to correct but hit gravel. I ended up going through a barbed wire fence and down a 10ft ditch.

The good news: I'm okay. Only got two small scrapes (thank god for 1 piece leathers) and a banged up knee. Also, my 250 still runs!
The bad news: The two tabs where the grab bar attaches to the frame twisted out. See the attached picture.

The frame appears to be straight, with no issues. I used the method here http://www.framestraightsystem.com/M...me%20Check.htm to double check as well as getting up to speed (about 45) and letting my hands off the handlebars to see if it wiggles. No apparent issues after both of these tests. I also checked for cracked paint and found nothing.

A new frame is a lot of money, so much I think it might be worth saving up to buy a new gen 250. Do you think the frame is completely unusable, or could I have a welding/body shop simply replace the broken tabs?

More pictures to come after I get off work.

pfff, that s*cks man, glad you're okay and welcome to the forum.
What a way to make an entrance

I won't give you any advise though, I'll leave that to the more experienced.

As promised, here's some more photos.

I'm going to do it one better, have the welding shop put a solid member across the back. Also going to pick up a full set of fairings from Airtech and maybe get a late 80s GSX-R750 headlight setup.

Get a large crescent wrench, twist the screw so its just thin enough to slide over the tabs. Then simply bend them back enough to bolt stuff back.

Thanks! I'll try the crescent wrech idea.

Hopefully I'll make it to the weld shop this week.

If you lived near by I'd weld it for ya ... Too bad ya don't
The look a little ripped so bend them back nice as you can and get someone to tack them quick
