Angry yep, that just happened

Riding to work today on the interstate a semi threw a rock the size of a baseball at me. I saw it coming and dropped my head so that it wouldn't hit my shield. It hit right above and and took a chunk out of the paint, about the size of a pea. I actually thought it would be worse but still pissed, helmet is only 4 months old. Any suggestions on how to do a fix on it? Or at least stop it from spreading

i was thinking that or clear finger nail polish, which was suggested for my cracked cluster gauge. Guess I could try and find a car touch up paint that is close to the color

^^^ yep!

Mix a little on some scrap cardboard and put a thin layer on the affected area. I have been doing this for 2yrs now and it works out very well. I learned this trick via trial and error from riding Nelson Ledges race track. The chunks of tarmac that would come up and be thrown at you are enough to make a clean hole through your radiator.

Go with epoxy, it straight up works and is hard... a little goes a long way and will dry transparent. If you want to touch it up before the epoxy layer that should work too. Just get complete coverage of the area.
