$25 DIY Oilchange

Made this short video to show how easily the Oil can be changed on the 08-12 ninja - easily saves $50-75 that the dealer or a shop would collect and it only takes start to finish 10 minutes.

The oil level is not correct.

Just adding oil up to the upper line in the sightglass after replacing the filter does not give you the proper level.

After initial filling, you need to start the engine and let it run at least enough to fill the oil filter and circulate the oil, then wait (usually 3 minutes), then balance the cycle level (more accurate than using a rear or centerstand), then read the sightglass.

Appreciate the info I did this after the video to be sure. The oil stayed at the correct level.
