Has anyone tried the Ohlins Asia shock?

I see a couple threads discussing it, but nobody said if they actually tried one. I'm heading to Thailand for vacation in a couple months, thinking about stuffing one of these into my luggage... It says it's rebound and preload adjustable. |

Yeah for like $340-350 after the exchange rate, it's not a big risk. It's between this and the GSXR custom setup that Road & Track from San Antonio offers. I'm just curious though, since Ohlins has such a good rep...

is the warranty for the product worldwide?
I thought it is issued by country it is being sold. e.g : if you purchase in Thailand, you would have to send it back to them for warranty claims?
